Roofing Repairs: Signs That Show You Need to Replace Your Current Roof


When talking about roof repairs and inspections, many people tend to do so prior to winter. After all, winters in Schaumburg and the rest of Illinois can be taxing on a roofing system. What many people do not realize is that summer weather can also be harsh on roofs due to longer and more intense exposure to the heat and sun.
 Ideally, you should inspect your roof twice a year: before summer and before winter. In other words, now is the best time to check your roof for any signs of damage. The last thing you want to happen is your roof giving way in the middle of summer because the heat and sun made a small problem worse. With that in mind, here are a few things you should do and be on the lookout for:
CHECK THE AGE OF YOUR ROOF
